It's pretty simple. A broad low building for machine work; a tall slender building for craftwork. The two buildings are linked by a stair hall and juxtaposed in such a way as to make the roof of the low building on the street continue from the eaves of its taller counterpart, where the workstations for delicate watchmaking procedures overlook the green slopes of the Müglitz valley. From across the street, the image of a coherent ensemble can be appreciated, with the characteristic appearances of a "Lange complex". The bridge between the new factory and the existing building known as Lange 2 emphasises the scenic integrity.
