Seawork '98

From the first day, it was clear that seawork '98, the new Commercial Marine Exhibition, Conference and Business Forum, sited at the QEII Terminal in the ABP Port of Southampton (June 16-18, 1998) should become a permanent fixture in the maritime calendar. The organisers, Mercator Exhibitions of Fareham in Hampshire, hosted this inaugural event with a clear objective: to create a meeting place where work problems can be solved through innovative solutions, and where new business contacts are made and established contacts strengthened. Site owners ABP are pleased with the reaction to this year's exhibition and their commitment and approval is paramount as arrangements to host seawork '99 are well advanced and contracts will be exchanged shortly.
