摘要

The unexpected characteristics of forestry out- put results were considered based on traditional eval- uation indexes to scientifically evaluate forestry's safety production efficiency in China. Panel data onto 31 provincial administrative regions from 2004to 2018 were selected. The non-parametric super ef- ficiency SBM-DEA method was used to analyze the temporal changes and regional differences in for- estry safety production efficiency. The results show perceptible differences in forestry safety production efficiency between different regions, and 17 prov-inces have higher forestry safety production effi- ciency, which offers a time trend of rising volatility. Technological progress is the primary driving force to improve China's Forestry Safety productivity, while the overall level of technical efficiency in var- ious regions is low. This is because the growth of forestry safety productivity is mainly restricted byinstitutional and management factors. Differentiated safety production management policies have to be implemented regularly to promote the forestry indus- try's balanced development.
