With the increasing global warming, the carbon emissions of port companies are increasing year by year. In order to realize the construction of ecologi-cal and environmentally friendly green ports, the re-search on effective measures to reduce carbon emis-sions has attracted more and more attention from port companies. In this paper, we have conducted a detailed analysis of the overall facility layout of the port. The port area is divided into four areas: cargo ship berthing area, quay crane operation area, con-tainer transportation area and container storage area. The carbon emissions of different regions were cal-culated based on the operation process and carbon emission formula of the port's import and export cargo. Through an example analysis of a port, the to-tal carbon emissions of the port continue to increase with the increase in throughput. In order to enhance the port's concept of green ecology and environmen-tal protection, the port began to use clean fuels to re-place the original fuel in 2017. Through calculations, this measure can effectivelyreduce carbon emissions, the carbon emissions of trucks have been reduced by 10%,and the carbon emissions of the bridge cranes have been reduced by 15%. The research results can provide references for the green development of ports.
