According to statistics, 1 in 2018, the number of cancer deaths in Asia accounted for nearly half of the world’s total, and more than half of the cases occurred. Part of the reason is that nearly 60% of the world’s population lives in Asia, with China being the largest, and the domestic treatment of cancer is also develop rapidly. The Da Vinci robot-assisted laparoscopic system improves the accuracy and success rate of surgery to a higher level, and promotes the extension of minimally invasive surgery to difficult, high-risk and practical large-scale surgery. 2 Although the introduction of Da Vinci robotic surgery in China has been short in time, it has developed rapidly. Advanced treatment technology and equipment need to cooperate with cutting-edge nursing concepts to make the postoperative recovery effect more significant. Recently, we have studied the effect of applying Robocare nursing model 3 to Da Vinci robot-assisted laparoscopic system for radical cancer surgery, and made new progress. At the same time, we also read the article by EmmaBirch and others in Eur J Oncol Nurs. 4 This article proves that applying Robocare nursing model to Da Vinci robot-assisted laparoscopic radical resection can improve the quality of life of pa- tients and promote postoperative recovery (see Figs. 1e3).
