Pituitary apoplexy is the event of haemorrhage, infarction or both affecting the pituitary gland. It commonly occurs in non-functioningpituitary adenoma. This case study reports an uncommon presentation of pituitary apoplexy where the patient only presented with a 2-week history of visual symptoms and was otherwise clinically stable, causing the disastrous pituitary event to be unsuspected on initialpresentation.
