Introduction: Expatriates constitute close to 90 % of the residentpopulation of United Arab Emirates (UAE), most of whom are tempo-rary residents. Due to these unique social circumstances, donors are notreadily available for people in need for kidney transplant; many goabroad for commercial transplantation. Free at the point of deliverykidney transplant (KT) program was established in Sheikh KhalifaMedical City by the Government of UAE in 2008 to improve access toKT to all legal residents of the country. We present the short term andlong term outcomes of all KT performed in this centre from 2008-15.
