Replacing didactic lecture with flipped classroom is converting passive learning to active learning

All the current and past teaching methodologies have their own advantages and disadvantages. With the advancement in field ofmedical education and to coup up with the challenges of modern era, adoption of active and dynamic learning approaches are direlyrequired. The Flipped class (FC) room is one of such newly introduced techniques, which is used for both the undergraduate and postgraduate residency programs. In this strategy, the traditional lectures are replaced with small group discussions and case basedlearning, by using a model of flipped class room.
