Percutaneous Catheter-directed Thrombolysis for Treatment of Complete Body and Bilateral Limb Endovascular Aortic Graft Occlusion

IntroductionEndovascular aortic aneurysm repair has specific complications, of these there have been few reports of complete body and bilateral limb occlusion.ReportWe describe a case of a 67 year old man presenting with complete EVAR body and bilateral limb graft occlusion treated with percutaneous catheter-directed thrombolysis. Complete graft patency was obtained within 24?h.DiscussionComplete EVAR graft body and bilateral limb is exceedingly uncommon. Treatments suggested include surgical bypass axillo- or aorto- bifemoral, and surgical thrombectomy. We have described a novel method of percutaneous catheter directed thrombolysis with good results.
