DIAGNSTICO DIFERENCIAL DE LAS MICOSIS SUPERFICIALES CON PATOLOGIAS DERMATOLGICAS

Las micosis superficiales son producidas por hongos que comprometen el estrato crneo de la epidermis y la porcin suprafolicular de los anexos. Estos hongos son capaces de producir enfermedades que simulan numerosas entidades dermatolgicas, las cuales se deben aprender adiferenciar. En este artculo se revisan las manifestaciones clnicas de las micosis superficiales que afectan al humano y los diagnsticos diferenciales dermatolgicos que se deben considerar cuando nos enfrentamos a cada una de ellas.ABSTRACTSuperficial mycoses are caused by fungi that involve the epidermal stratum corneum and suprafollicular portion of the annexa. These fungi are capable of producing conditions that simulate numerous dermatologic entities which we must learn to differentiate. In this paper we review the clinical manifestations of superficial fangal infections and the dermatological differential diagnoses that must be considered when faced with the various clinical presentations.
