Towards the Next Decade for Perovskite Solar Cells

In 2009, a study on the use of halide perovskites as light sensitizersin liquid dye-sensitized solar cells went almost unnoticeduntil three years later, when an outstanding performance for allsolidperovskite solar cell was reported. Although these materialswere already well known in the literature, it was their use forphotovoltaic applications that boosted the interest in this familyof materials.
