ABSTRACT The microbial infestation is a common problem especially in textiles due to their receptiveness for moisture, dirt, food particles giving scope for microbe's growth. In case of innerwear that is nexttoskin the situation becomes more critical.Textiles formedical andhygienic use have become important areas in the textile industry. Therefore, to reduce/prevent infections, various antimicrobial compounds have been used for all types of textiles. This paper gives a review for Natural herbal.
