Broadcast signcryption, which enables thebroadcaster to simultaneously encrypt and sign the contentmeant for a specific set of users in a single logical step, provides the most efficient solution to this dual problem ofconfidentiality and authentication. Recently, severalidentity-based broadcast signcryption (IBBSC) schemeshave been proposed. However, we find almost all IBBSCschemes that have been proposed until now do not satisfyregister secrecy and forward secrecy. Following this, wepropose a new IBBSC scheme and formally prove itssecurity under the random oracle model for broadcastsigncryption (IND-CCA2 and EUF-CMA)While we proposea secure IBBSC scheme, we do not compromise theperformance. The proposed scheme only requires twopairing operations for end user devices with limitedcomputing capability.
