Research on Airport Logistics Sustainable Development in Perspectives of Logistics Network

This paper aims to study the airport logistics sustainable development in perspectives of logistics network. Firstly, we analyzed the influence factors of the airport logistics sustainable development and establish a concept model, named FAIN. Then, we evaluated the overall capacity of the airport logistics of four airports in China with the applying of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and multi-target linear weighting method. We found that quality, quantity, and duration are the three primary aspects of an airport logistics development. The structure of air logistics firms, airport condition, information technologies, sky and ground net are the four critical factors for airport logistics quantity growth. The collaboration and match of these four different factors may gain growth, coordination, and sustainability capacity for airport logistics. At lost, we also discuss the evolution results and emphasize some suggestions on airport logistics sustainable development, especially the pharmaceutical cold chain logistics at airports.
