Patients with knee osteoarthritis are recommended to exercise to [10_TD$DIF]deal with pain and disability, and are commonly referredto physiotherapy for help and guidance. Wang et al evaluatedtwo different exercise interventions in their study: Tai Chi andphysiotherapy.Althoughprevious studieshavedocumentedbeneficialeffects of exercises in this patient group, there is no consensusregarding what type and dose of exercises are the most efficient.1 Inpatients with other long-term knee pain diagnoses, such aspatellofemoral pain, there has been documented dose-responseeffects of exercises, ie, higher volume (repetitions and duration) hasproven to be most efficient regarding pain and functional outcomes[12_TD$DIF].2,3.
