Combination of bone graft and BMP-2 in preventing complications after femoral neck fracture in non-elderly people

Background: Complications, such as nonunion and avascular necrosis, after surgery of femoral neck fracture in non-elderly patients have long been obstacles to overcome. Due to known effect of bone graft and recombinant bone morphogenic protein-2 (rhBMP-2), we expect the combination of both provides a better result in accelerating fracture healing and preventing complications.
