摘要

We present numerical simulations of the modified nonlinear Schr??dinger equation satisfied by kinetic Alfv??n waves (KAWs) leading to the formation of magnetic filaments at different times. The relevance of these filamentary structures to solar wind turbulence and particle heating has also been pointed out.
