This study aimed evaluate the effect of seed treatment with different insecticides in different periods of storage after this treatmen in maize seeds. The research was carried out in the seed analysis laboratory of the School of Agronomy and Food Engineering at Federal University of Goiás - UFG. The design was completely randomized in a factorial 3 x 4 with 20 replications, with three factors storage periods and four insecticides types for seed treatment. It was used two double hybrids (BR 205 e PL 6882), two varieties(AL Bandeirante e Emgopa 501) and a simple hybrid (PL 1335), constituting a single factor (genotype) for each insecticide. The seeds have been tested for germination and vigor, after the seed treatment at each storage period. The tests used were germination and tetrazolium. The results were statistically analyzed by F-test and it means were compared by Tukey test at 5% probability and the data processed by non-germinated seeds √(x + 1) to meet the assumptions of analysis of variance. Treatment with insecticide and storage influence on seed germination and the interaction of treatment seed and storage influence on the number of seeds ungerminated.
