Creation of promising transportation devices using mechanisms based on flexible tubular elements

摘要

This article presents the design of various mechanisms, the main workingelement of which is a flexible tubular element. The principle of operation and advantagesof flexible elements allowing to create perspective devices and mechanisms aredescribed. The problems of selection of the geometrical parameters of flexible tubularsprings and evaluation of the strength characteristics are solved.
