We thank Joel Ellwanger and José Chiesfor their Correspondence regarding ourArticle.3 This Correspondence resonateswith theirs and highlights a neglectedapproach in One Health from a largerperspective.After unprecedented momentum andsuccess in global malaria control in thefrst decade of 21st century, progressappears to have stalled.1 The easier goalshave been achieved, but the remainingchallenges require more sustainableand substantial investment in healthrelated infrastructure in resourcelimited countries.
