La pollution olfactive en environnement urbain : cas particulier des odeurs des restaurants

It is not necessary to demonstrate that population feels unwanted odors as an attack. It is become the second complain after noise. Mostly olfactory pollution concerns industries that reject ill-smelling emanations but it concerns pollution in urban environment as well. Nowadays many methods exist to identify smelling compounds in the atmosphere. This is the first step to target molecules responsible for olfactory problem and then develop and upgrade neutralization process of odors. This article will define characterization and neutralization methods that already exist and focuses on the special case of olfactory problem emitted by restaurants.
