O Holismo Linguístico na Hermenêutica Filosófica de Hans-Georg Gadamer: uma análise a partir do conceito de imagem (Bild)

摘要

Este estudo busca contribuir para a compreens?o da estrutura do pensamento hermenêutico de Hans-Georg Gadamer por meio de uma análise do conceito fundamental de imagem ( Bild ). A hipótese defendida é que Gadamer prop?e um modelo holista para a as ciências do espírito, o qual se op?e ao modelo atomista ou reducionista. Enquanto este defende que fen?menos sociais devem ser reduzidos a a??es singulares, aquele afirma que há diferen?as ontológicas ou substanciais entre fen?menos ou fatos individuais e fen?menos ou fatos sociais. Nesse sentido, o conceito de imagem estética possibilita a compreens?o do modo como o significado da experiência humana é constituído de modo holístico. O holismo linguístico se caracteriza, em última instancia, por uma rela??o de interdependência entre o caráter de “ser por si” ( Fürsichsein ) e da “estrutura de referência” ( Struktur der Verweisung ) de toda imagem, i.e., de toda palavra. This study sheds light on Gadamer’s hermeneutical thought by means of an analysis of the fundamental concept “image” (Bild). The central hypothesis of this study consists in regarding Gadamer’s philosophy as a defense of an holistic model for human sciences, which can be regarded in opposition to an atomistic model. Whereas atomism states that social phenomena should be reduced to singular actions, holism claims that there are substantial or ontological differences between individual and social phenomena or facts. Thus, the concept of aesthetic image enables us to understand the way how the meaning of human experience is constituted holistically.
