Inthisstudy,biocompatibleCo-basedCo-Cr-Moalloypowderproducedbydirect-resistanthot-pressingtechniqueatdifferenttemperatures.Theeffectofpressingtemperatureonmicrostructureandmechanicalpropertiesofthesamplesproducedweredetermined.nbsp;Thepowderconsistingof67.5%Co(99.5%purity-325mesh),27.5%Cr(99%purity-325mesh)and5%Mo(purity99.95%-325mesh)washomogeneouslymixedbytheaddingpolyethyleneglycollubricant.Thepowdermixturespreparedweredirectlyhotpressedunder115barat750,800,850,900deg;Cfor5minutes.Density,microstructureandsomemechanicalcharacteristicsofthesamplesproducedwereinvestigated.Thedensityofthesinteredspecimensincreasedwiththetemperature,exceptthespecimenat850deg;Cinwhichporosityincreased,duetothelocalmicrostructuralsegregation.
