The place names reflect the historical footprints of human beings and write the history of human beings. It is the fossil of language and records the development and changes of human society and the features of the times. Place names are not only a social language phenomenon, but also a social and cultural phenomenon, which contains rich and profound cultural content. Through the living fossil of place-name, people can not only investigate the history of national migration, but also perspective major national events, look for clues about national economic development, visit the national war, and reveal the characteristics of national natural culture. This thesis adopts the combination of field investigation and literature reading, expounding the topic of real history of social historical activities from the aspects of residents migration, historical events, economic development, military disputes and natural transportation geography, and draws a basic conclusion--the place name is not only a representation of social history, cultural mentality and psychological orientation, but also a special linguistic and cultural product of human society.
