摘要

This article presents elements about a theoretical research on the historical evolution of technology and some understandings of how it was appropriated by society and the consequences of this process based on references such as: Dagnino, Lemos, Feenberg, Trigueiro. We also draw a parallel of the evolution of education as a technique and the similarities with other technologies, especially the curriculum, which is referenced by: Silva, Santomé, Sacristán, Moreira, Apple. We conclude such records by analysing the course design of a federal teaching institution that engendered a flexible curricular arrangement, demonstrating that it is possible for the technology to be appropriated in a variety of ways.
