摘要

The aim of this study was to evaluate the good food handler practices of school food services from Itaqui-RS. Datacollection was done through two checklists of good practice - one for elementary schools (EMEFs) and one forchildhood education (EMEIs) - based on the current sanitary legislation. The conformities percentage increased from50.20% in the first application to 60.84% in the last. The EMEFs remained classified as regular sanitary risk, andEMEIs went from high sanitary risk to regular. The best result was observed in the categories of documentation,registration and responsibilities of EMEFs, which went from 25% to 66.67% of conformity. The EMEIs obtained anincrease of 40% to 54.25% in category of food handlers among the checklists applications. We see the need forpreventive and corrective actions of these schools by developing procedures of good practice, to promote healthamong students.
