Donato D’?ngelo (1919–2014): a giant in many aspects

Donato D’?ngelo was born in Petrópolis, “the city of D. Pedro,TherezaChristina, Isabel and all of us”, in the Serrana regionofthe state of Rio de Janeiro, and was considered to be a giantinmany,manyrespects. He entered the Fluminense School ofMedicine,in Niterói, at the age of 14 years and graduated attheage of 20 years, in 1939. He is considered to have been theyoungestdoctor in Brazil (profile published by SBCOC).
