Biomass production and chemical composition of Macroptilium lathyroides (L.) Urb. subjected to different levels of sheep manure in Lower Basin of San Francisco

nbsp;TheobjectiveofthisstudywastoevaluatetheeffectofsheepmanurefertilizationinbiomassproductionandchemicalcompositionofMacroptiliumlathyroides(L.)Urb.intheLowerBasinofSanFrancisco.ThesoilusedwasTypicalFluventPsammitic(RUq)andtheexperimentwasconductedinplasticpotswith13kgsoilineach.nbsp;Completelyrandomizeddesignwasusedwithfivetreatments(zero,10,20,30and40t/hasheepmanure)andfivereplications.nbsp;Thevaluesobtainedfordrymatterproduction(DMP):shoot(PMS-PA),stem(PMS-C)andleaf(PMS-MLF)werewiththenexthighestdoseof30t/ha.Thecrudeprotein(CP)ofthestemandleafwerenotaffectedbyfertilization.nbsp;Thesheepmanuredoseofnbsp;30t/hasupportsthehighestbiomassproductionofMacroptiliumlathyroides(L.)Urb..
