Theselectionandproductionofbullsforthecattlemarkethavebothbecomethegoalofmanystudies,aswellasagreatchallengeforthesegment,providingtheconstantsearchforperformanceimprovementofthatsortofanimal.Thestudyaimedtosimulatewhatmighthappentothecostofbreedingandproduction,intermsofquantity,underinfluenceofthematingmethodsandavailablereproductionbiotechniquesintheBrazilianmarket.Thehypothesisconsistsinmatingmatrices,classedbytheirgenotype,theirproducewillbebetterthanwhencomparedtotheproduceofphenotype-classedmatrices.Forty-twoproductive-scenes,dividedinto21genotypicmatingsand21phenotypicmatingsweresimulated.Ineachofthescenedivisionstherewerefollowingsimulations:naturalbreeding,standardartificialinsemination,artificialinseminationwithmale-genderedsemen,standardembryotransference,embryotransferencewithmale-genderedsemen,standardIn-vitrofecundationandIn-vitrofecundationwithmale-genderedsemen,sothatinallthecases,threedifferentconceptionratesweretested.Theresultsshowedthatthematingsystemhadadirectinfluenceonthecostandproductionofyoungbulls,andmatingbygenotypewasmoreefficientthanmatingbyphenotype.Theconceptionratesnegativelyinfluencedphenotypicmatingresults,mainly.Theuseofmatingsystemslinkedtophenotypicreproductivebiotechnologiesincreasetheproductioncostofproducingmoreanimalsdestinedforslaughterandasmalleramountofselectedanimalssuchasbreedinganimals.nbsp;
