Thisresearchinvestigatedtheeffectofaddingtomatopowdertofishoil-containingdietonperformanceandeggqualityofnativelayinghens.Onehundredtwentynativelayinghenswithinitialhendayproductionof60.83±8.48%(coefficientofvariation8.48%)wererandomlydistributedinacompletelyrandomizeddesignexperimentwith4treatmentsand6replications(eachreplicationsconsistedof5birds).TreatmentsusedwerePO:basalfeed+2.5%palmoil(control);FO:basalfeed+2.5%fishoil;FO-0.5TP:basalfeed+2.5%fishoil+0.5%tomatopowder;FO-1.0TP:basalfeed+2.5%fishoil+1.0%tomatopowder.Thetreatmentsdidnotaffect(P0.05)feedintake,eggweight,andeggmass.Fishoil-containingdiet(FO)showedlower(P0.05)hendayproductionandfeedconversionratiocomparedtotheotherdiets,However,additionoftomatopowderinfishoil-containingdiet,hadnosignificantdifferencesinhendayproductionandfeedconversionratiowhencomparedtocontrolgroup.Therewerenosignificanteffects(P0.05)oftreatmentsoneggshapeindex,shellweight,shellthickness,shellsurfacearea,albumenweight,HaughUnit,yolkweight,andyolkcolor.Theconclusionofthisexperimentisthataddingtomatopowdercouldamelioratenegativeeffectoffishoil-containingdietonhendayproductionandfeedconversionratioofnativelayinghens.
