Theobjectivesofthisstudyweretodetermine:theproteinsolubilityofleavesofcassavaandSesbaniagrandifloraandoffoliageofwaterspinachandsweetpotatovines;nbsp;andtheeffectofthesefeedresourcesonmethaneproductioninaninvitroincubationsystemwithorwithoutcassavarootmealassubstrate.nbsp;Crudeproteinsolubilitywaslowerforleavesofcassavanbsp;andSesbaniagrandifloranbsp;thanforwaterspinachfoliageandsweetpotatovines.nbsp;nbsp;Thegasproductionandnbsp;methaneproductionperunitDMsolubilizedwerelowerontheleaveswithlowsolubilityoftheprotein,andwerelowerstillwhencassavarootmealwasincludedinthesubstrate.
