Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of magnesium sulfate wet-compressing combined with cling film wrapping in nursing care of extravasation of contrast medium. Methods 〓Totally 22 patients with extravasation of contrast medium were set as the control group and given 50% magnesium sulfate wet-compressing on limb swelling site. Another 22 patients as the observaition group were given magnesium sulfate wet-compressing combined with cling film wrapping at limb swelling site. The total times of magnesium sulfate wet-compressing and satisfactory degree of patients were observed and compared between two groups. Results 〓There was less times of magnesium sulfate wet-compressing in the observation group than that of control(P0.05). Patients in the observation group were more satisfied with the nursing service compared with those in the control group(P0.05). Conclusion 〓Application of 50% magnesium sulfate wet-compressing combined with cling film wrapping is effective in nursing care of extravasation of contrast medium.
