Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of kindredlike nursing on negative emotions and selfcare nursing ability in patients with malignant gynecologic tumors. Methods A total of 85 patients with malignant gynecologic tumors were randomly divided into observation group (n=43) and control group (n=42). Control group was treated with routine nursing while observation group with kindredlike nursing. The changes of negative emotions and selfcare ability were compared between two groups. Results Hamilton’s depression scale (HAMD) and Hamilton’s anxiety scale (HAMA) scores decreased more significantly in observation than those in control group at discharge and 2 months after discharge (P<0.01). At discharge, the score of each dimension and the total scores of exercise of selfcare scale (ESCA) increased more obviously in observation group than those in control group (P<0.01). 2 months after discharge, selfconcept score, selfnursing ability score and the total score increased markedly in observation group than those at discharge (P<0.05 or P<0.01), whereas the total score decreased notably in control group (P<0.05), and the differences were also significant between two groups (P<0.01). Conclusion Compared with routine nursing, kindredlike nursing can effectively improve the negative emotions and selfcare ability of patients with malignant gynecologic tumors.
