Abstract:This paper reviewed the rescue and nursing measures for amniotic fluid embolism with disseminated intravascular coagulation and postpartum hemorrhagic shock in a parturient woman. The amniotic fluid embolism, once diagnosed, should be treated with targeted interventions immediately. Maternal and fetal conditions should be monitored strictly, and interventions such as reducing pulmonary edema, improving brain circulation, establishing venous pathways and correcting hemorrhagic shock are required, in order to ensure the maternal and fetal safety.
