：Objective To investigate the nurses' satisfaction with working environment, and to adopt a plan-do-check-action(PDCA)management for the improvement of working environment and quality of nursing. Methods 〓The questionnaire survey was conducted to nurses in a certain hospital. The PDCA circle was used to improve the working environment, and nurses' satisfaction with working environment was evaluated at the end of first quarter and fourth quarter of 2018. Results 〓Totally 1 230 valid questionnaires at the end of first quarter of 2018 and 1 531 valid questionnaires at the end of fourth quarter of 2018 were collected. The total score of satisfaction evaluation was(81.77±0.63)at the fourth quarter, which was higher than(75.72±0.58)at the first quarter(P0.05). Conclusion 〓The evaluation based on a quality control method can effectively improve the working environment of nurses.
