摘要

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of the Specific, Measureable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-limited(SMART)principles in clinical teaching of traditional Chinese medicine nursing. Methods 〓Totally 100 nursing students with internship were included and assigned to the study group(n=50)and the control group(n=50). Nursing students in the control group were taught by routine teaching method, and an integrated method of SMART principle and routine clinical teaching was adopted in the study group. The outcome of theory test and practice skills assessment were assessed and compared between two groups. Results 〓Nursing students in the study group achieved higher scores in theory test and practice skills assessment compared with those of students in the control group(P0.01). Conclusion 〓It is an effective way of improving teaching quality by integrating the SMART principles into routine teaching method.
