Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of nursing management based on WeChat platform during perioperative period for patients undergoing laparoscopic day-surgery. Methods 〓From December 2015 to August 2017, totally 240 patients with laparoscopic day-surgery at outpatient clinic of gynecology were assigned to the observation group and the control group, with 120 cases in each group. Patients in both two groups received routine care including preoperative check, health education and guidance on surgery. Additionally, the extended nursing management based on WeChat platform was provided by surgeons, anesthetist and nurses cooperatively. The preoperative anxiety status, preoperative preparation, awareness of postoperative rehabilitation and satisfactory degree on day-surgery of patients were evaluated and compared between two groups. Results 〓There were 230 questionnaires valid for the final analysis(n=115 in the observation group, n=115 in the control group). The score of preoperative preparation was(9.68±0.63)in the observation group and was(3.91±0.90)in the control group, with a significant difference(P0.01). The score of postoperative rehabilitation awareness was(93.01±2.98)in the observation group and was(84.95±4.38)in the control group, with a significant difference(P0.01). The score of Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale-7(GAD-7)was(6.29±2.52)in the observation group and was(9.65±3.50)in the control group, with a significant difference(P0.01). Patients in the observation group ranked higher score of satisfactory degree on day-surgery compared with those in the control group(94.91±2.59 vs. 87.67±3.41, P0.01). Conclusion 〓In patients with laparoscopic day-surgery, the extended nursing management based on WeChat platform is potentially effective to relieve the anxiety status induced by lacking awareness of disease and short length of stay.
