：Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Mesalt in dressing change for edematous granulation tissue. Methods 〓Totally 68 patients with chronic wounds were selected and randomly divided into control group(n=34)and observation group(n=34). Patients in control group were given silver ion gauze for dressing change, while those in observation group were treated with Mesalt for dressing change. The frequency of dressing change and healing time between 2 groups were compared. Results 〓The frequency of dressing change and healing time in observation group were less than those in control group(P0.01). Conclusion 〓Application of Mesalt dressing can reduce the frequency of dressing change, and facilitate the wound healing. It is worth to be widely used in clinic.
