:Objective To explore the causes of unplanned readmission and nursing countermeasures for male patients with lupus nephritis. Methods 〓A retrospective study was carried out to conduct a descriptive analysis of the causes of readmission in male patients with lupus nephritis from January 2014 to January 2019. Results 〓The rate of unplanned readmission was 42.86%(30/70). The reasons of unplanned readmission mainly included abnormal blood urine in 30(100.00%)cases, poor adherence in 7(23.33%)cases,lung infection in 5(16.67%)cases, lower extremity edema in 4(13.33%)cases, fever in 2(6.67%)cases and catheter-related bloodstream infection in 1(3.33%)case. Conclusion 〓Abnormal blood parameters, poor adherence and pulmonary infection are the main reasons of hospital readmission in male patients with lupus nephritis. Corresponding measures should be carried out in aspects of extended care, prevention, dietary intervention and treatment adherence.
