:Objective To explore the effect of gestational weight management combined with postural training on promoting spontaneous labor in pregnant women. Methods 〓Totally 300 primiparas with single-fetus pregnancy were assigned to the observation group and the control group, with 150 cases in each group. All women received routine gestational management during pregnancy, and those in the observation group were given extra gestational weight management combined with posture training. The duration of labor, method of delivery and anxiety level of pregnant women were observed. The neonatal outcomes in two groups were analyzed. Results 〓Puerperant women in the observation group had shorter duration of labor compared with those in the control group(P0.05). There were 138 puerperant women in the observation group and 119 women in the control group undergoing spontaneous labor(P0.05). There was no case of neonatal asphyxia observed in the observation group, and all newborns in the observation group had normal birth weight. Puerperant women in the observation group suffered from less severe anxiety compared with those in the control group(P0.05). Conclusion 〓The gestational weight management combined with posture training is effective to promote the spontaneous labor and improve the perinatal outcomes of pregnant women.
