Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of Chinese herbs fuming-washing combined calamine lotions with rifampicin in treatment of neonatal pustulosis. Methods A total of 90 cases of neonatal pustulosis were randomly divided into the group A,B and C, with 30 cases in each group. The group A was given Bactroban ointment, the group B was given fuming-washing with honeysuckle powder and the group C was given calamine lotions with rifampicin after using fuming-washing with honeysuckle powder. The clinical effect at 3 days after treatment and satisfaction of parents to nursing service were compared. The neonatal complications and adverse reactions were recorded. Results The overall clinical effect was higher in the group C than that of group A and group B, with a significant different(P0.01). Parents of neonates in group A had higher satisfaction rate compared with those of neonates in the group B and group C, with a significant(P0.01). There was no significant difference in incidence of neonatal complications and adverse reactions among three groups(P0.05). Conclusion Chinese herbs fuming-washing combined calamine lotions with rifampicin is effective in treatment of neonatal pustulosis.
