Abstract:Objective To summarize the nursing management of microdissection testicular sperm extraction and intracytoplasmic sperm injection in 152 patients. Methods The micro-TESE was conducted in 152 patients with non-obstructive azoospermia(NOV). All patients received nursing interventions including preoperative preparation, health education, psychological care, intraoperative cooperation, postoperative care and telephone follow-up. Results There was no patients with complications after operation. After receiving micro-TESE, there were 62 cases valid for ICSI cycle. There were 85 cases of successful conception after ICSI combined or In vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-D). Conclusion It is required to carry out preoperative health education and psychological care to relieve the negative emotion of patients undergoing micro-TESE for NOV. The intraoperative cooperation and postoperative care are important to ensure the success of operation and reduce the risk of complication.
