:Objective To investigate nurses' attitude towards end-of-life care and analyze its influencing factors. Methods 〓The Chinese Frommelt Attitude Toward Care of the Dying(FATCOD)was adopted, and totally 460 nurses from comprehensive Hospital were investigated in a certain hospital of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in Shanxi Province. Results The total score of FATCOD scale was(99.83±8.31). Univariate analysis showed that there was a statistically significant difference relating to attitudes of hospice care among different ages, working ages, academic qualifications, titles, and job positions(P0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the job position and end-of-care experience had an impact on nurses' attitudes toward end-of-life care(R2=0.025, F=6.803, P0.01). Conclusion 〓Nurses' attitudes toward end-of-life care in the hospital of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine was at a medium level. It is better to organize continuing education and training with proper methods regarding to different characteristics and needs, to systematically strengthen hospice care knowledge, to improve quality of care for dying patients and their families, and to promote the development of end-of-life care.
