Abstract:The permanent pacemaker implantation plays an important role in treatment of slow cardiac arrhythmia, however, its postoperative complication such as infection and pocket hematoma may cause negative impacts on patients’ quality of life. The early identification of postoperative complication and corresponding nursing measures are highly recommend, in order to improve the prognosis of disease. This paper reviewed the study on nursing management of postoperative complications after permanent pacemaker implantation, and provided reference for cardiac nursing practice.
