Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of nursing interventions based on quality index monitoring in improving the compliance of oral opioids among patients with cancer pain. Methods Totally 64 patients with cancer pain were included as the control group between July, 2016 and February, 2017. They were received routing medication care during oral opioids therapy. Another 64 patients with cancer pain were included as the observation group between March, 2017 and October, 2017, and nursing interventions based on quality index monitoring were carried out during oral opioids therapy. The drug compliance, effect of pain control and satisfactory degree of patients were evaluated and compared between two groups. Results 〓The drug compliance and satisfaction rate of patients were higher in the observation group than those of the control group(P0.05). There were fewer patients with numerical rating scale(NRS) 3 in the observation group than those in the control group(P0.01). Conclusion 〓Nursing interventions based on the quality index monitoring can improve the compliance of oral opioids in patients with cancer pain.
