Abstract:Objective To evaluate the problem-based learning(PBL)and situational teaching method in module of emergency nursing. Methods 〓A total of 102 nursing students were randomly divided into the PBL group(n=52)and the situation group(n=50), with PBL and situational teaching method, respectively. The teaching performance was evaluated by assessment on theories and practice. The satisfaction degree of students on teaching method was evaluated by questionnaires. Results 〓Students in the PBL group achieved higher score on theories test, and students in the situation group achieved higher score on practice test(P0.05). Students in the PBL group were more satisfied with the theoretic knowledge while those in the situation group were more satisfied with the practical part(P0.05). Conclusion 〓These two teaching methods should be used in a consideration of goals and content of courses.
