Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle(QCC)activity in prevention of rate of hypothermia and related complications in general anesthesia patients. Methods Totally 179 general anesthesia patients were selected as the control group before QCC activities(Between March, 2015 and March, 2016). The potential factors of hypothermia and related complications were analyzed and improvement measures were provided. Another 179 general anesthesia patients were selected as the observation group after QCC activities(Between May, 2016 and July, 2016). The rate of hypothermia and related complications was observed, and the satisfaction degree of patients was evaluated. Results The incidence of hypothermia and related complications was lower in the observation group than that of controls, with a significant difference(P0.05). The nursing satisfaction degree was 93.85%(168/179)in the observation group and was 79.33%(142/179)in the control group, with a significant difference(P0.05). Conclusion The QCC activity is potentially effective to reduce the incidence of intraoperative hypothermia and related complications in patients with general anesthesia.
