O estudo tem como objetivo refletir sobre a educa?§?£o f?-sica adaptada na forma?§?£o universit??ria, considerando a interven?§?£o desta disciplina como fator fundamental na prepara?§?£o do profissional de educa?§?£o f?-sica que almeja trabalhar com pessoas com necessidades especiais. Partindo de uma revis?£o bibliogr??fica dos conceitos sobre inclus?£o, adapta?§?£o, diversidade humana, hist?3rico da educa?§?£o f?-sica adaptada e sua g?anese. Tamb??m destacamos a realidade brasileira e a grade curricular dos cursos de educa?§?£o f?-sica, foram tra?§adas as viv?ancias e as experi?ancias dos alunos de educa?§?£o f?-sica da Faculdade Metrocamp com pessoas portadoras de defici?ancias. A educa?§?£o f?-sica adaptada, al??m de trazer subs?-dios suficientes para o discente se inserir no mercado de trabalho, possibilita que as pessoas portadoras de necessidades especiais sejam tratadas com o devido respeito, dignidade e compromisso, proporcionando-lhes uma melhor inclus?£o social e qualidade de vida; al??m de nos ajudar a compreender melhor o que podemos fazer para termos uma sociedade mais ?-ntegra e que seja inclusiva para entender e aceitar a diversidade humana em toda sua plenitude.Palavras-chave: Educa?§?£o f?-sica adaptada; Defici?ancias; Diversidade humana; Forma?§?£o profissional./div/pbr/pABSTRACT/PThis study has as objective to reflect on suitable the physical education in the university formation, considering the intervention of this disciplines as basic factor for the preparation of the professional of physical education that wishes to work with people with special necessities (handicap people). Leaving of a bibliographical revision of the concepts like inclusion, adaptation, human diversity, description of the adapted physical education, as also the brazilian reality and the curricular grading of the courses of graduation in physical education, had also been traced the experiences and the experiences of the pupils of physical education of the Metrocamp College with handicap people. The adapted physical education besides bringing subsidies enough for the learning to insert themselves in the work market, makes possible that handicap people to be treated with the due respect, dignity and commitment, providing them better conditions of social inclusion and quality of life, helping to understand better what we can make for having a society with more integrity and which recognizes the inclusion to understand and accept the human diversity in its total essence.Keywords: Adapted physical education; Handicap; Human diversity; Professional formation./div
