Data gathered for the last several years from the twowind stations, located at the ?u?ara fields, was used to create localwind climate and meteorological parameter database.Extrapolation of the values contained in the database to an areaof several square kilometers in the vicinity of the measurementstations, and to a height corresponding to technical properties ofwind turbines, serves as a tool for planning future wind farms.While predicting wind resources, some uncertainties can occurwhich are usually related to measured data quality and reliabilityof extrapolation procedure. In case of hilly terrains with complexspatial configuration, reliability of the wind resources predictionis directly dependent to applied model of air mass movementdynamics. Focus of this paper was testing of the ComputationalFlow Dynamics (CDF) model implemented in the WindSim ? ? ?software package. Testing was performed by comparing values ofthe measured and simulated mean wind speed at 30m. By varyingand correcting the boundary conditions it was shown that appliedmodel was able to predict mean wind speed value of one stationwhile using the mean wind speed value of the second wind stationas input information in the simulation, with an error comparableto measurement uncertainty. Simulation of air mass movementgave an insight to a wind speed fields at 30m for a spring –summer period. These results are important for the future windexploitation in Serbia, and can provide better analysis of theclimate conditions at the agricultural and vineyard area of ?u?arafields.
