Relay Protection of Transmission Line in the Micro-Grid Based on Frequency Modulation

摘要

In recent years, the development of the micro-gridtechnology is promoted rapidly. In this paper, considering thefault characteristics of the micro-grid and the insufficiency ofmicro-grid relay protection, relay protection of transmissionline applied in the micro-grid based on frequency modulation isproposed firstly. Then, differences between the micro-grid relayprotection and the traditional one are introduced. After that,the operational principle and the whole working process of thefrequency modulation are analyzed. Finally, by simulation andexperiments, the novel proposed frequency modulation methodis proved correct and practical.
